Early Decision Application Due Date

You will want to keep the early decision date in mind:

    Monday, February 1, 2010

After submitting your application, the teacher of the class may contact you to learn more about the child and the family.  Enrollment decisions take about a month to process.  Once a decision has been made, parents will receive a letter from the school indicating their child's placement for the coming year.

After the early decision date, we accept and enroll children on a rolling basis as space permits.

Applications from families new to our school should include a one-time fee of $50.

Annual Tuition

A summary of the 2010-11 annual tuition is below:

Parent-Child Program-Session I (September - December): $900
Parent-Child Program-Session II (January - May): $1,200
Morning Glory (3-Day) Kindergarten:  $5,250
Oak Tree (5-Day) Kindergarten:  $8,350
Afternoon Program:  $1,470 per each day enrolled
Grades 1, 2 & 3:  $12,600

At the time of acceptance, a registration fee is required to hold a space for the child in the class.  The registration fee is deducted from the annual tuition, and is non-refundable and non-transferable.  The first tuition installment is due July 1.  Thereafter, for a total of 10 installments, payments are due on the first of each month.  The last payment will be due April 1, 2010.  Discounts are given for payment in full and biannual payments.

Tuition Assistance Requests

February 1, 2010, is the date by which tuition assistance request applications need to be completed with The School and Student Service for Financial Aid (SSS).  You will need to know our school code: 2937.  An objective and confidential assessment of family need is returned to the school's tuition assistance committee.  Award amounts are mailed to families with their placement decision.  Tuition assistance is available in limited amounts from the school budget and through the generosity of donors.  Applicants filing after February 1, 2010, may find that all available funds have been awarded.  It is our hope that anyone desiring Waldorf education will not allow financial constraints to prevent application to the school.
